Long before roads were built, the buffalo came this way.

For thousands of years, herds of bison crossed the waters of Elkhorn Creek at a single place in what's now Georgetown, Kentucky. It was known as The Great Crossing — where ancient trails met, travelers passed, and community began.

Those trails became the routes of Native American tribes, explorers, and early settlers. From buffalo trails to frontier roads, this has always been a place where people came together — and where new journeys begin.

Hi, I'm Annette — the hat maker behind Great Crossing Hat Co.

I've always believed a great hat is more than something you wear — it's a little piece of your story you carry with you. That belief is what led me to open our custom hat bar in the heart of historic Georgetown, Kentucky: a place where you can slow down, pick your favorite hat, and watch it shaped by hand into something that's truly yours.

Every hat that leaves our bar is shaped one at a time, with care, patience, and a whole lot of heart. No two are exactly alike — and that's the point.
